I specialize in helping adults process and move forward from traumatic and adverse events, whether they happened recently or in the distant past. Examples of these events include (but aren’t limited to):

  • Military trauma

  • Interpersonal or relational trauma

  • Occupational trauma

  • Childhood trauma

  • Identity-based trauma

  • Reproductive trauma

  • Grief and loss

  • Serious accident or injury

  • Changes to sexual health, well-being, and functioning (e.g. medical, trauma, or age-related changes)

Pricing.

Consultation + treatment planning

  • Initial consultation call (15-minutes): complimentary

  • Initial intake and treatment planning session (60-75 minutes, $300)

Psychotherapy sessions

  • 50-minute individual therapy sessions (standard session length following initial intake appointment): $250

  • 90-minute individual therapy sessions: $325

  • 60-minute couples therapy session: $300

Group enrollment

  • Groups typically consist of 8-12 weekly 50-minute sessions, ranging from $400-$750 total.

PTSD Diagnostic Assessment

  • The total cost depends on the complexity of the evaluation and total time required.

  • Fees are discussed in advance so that you know what to expect before we begin.

  • Typically, total cost ranges from $1,000 - $2,000

Payment Policy and Additional Information

Payment is due at the time of session and we accept cash, credit card, and checks.

Ember Psychology is out-of-network with all insurance providers. At your request, Ember Psychology will provide a detailed invoice (“superbill”) that includes a diagnosis code for the session, which you can submit to your insurance provider or HSA/FSA for potential reimbursement.

To determine whether you are eligible for out-of-network reimbursement, contact your insurance company directly.
